General Terms & Conditions

Check-in 3pm; Check-out 10am.

Please note that minimum stay periods may apply at certain times of the year.

This house is split across 3 levels so you need to be willing and able to climb stairs.

House rules suitable for a Tranquil Retreat:

  1. Smoking outside only in designated area
  2. No children under 12
  3. No pets allowed
  4. No parties / noise after 10pm
  5. Cleaning or turnover service only by request and at a charge and not available on Sundays or Public Holidays
  6. The guest will be charged for any Damage, Loss or Breakages of Wilderness Gem Luxury Villa effects, resulting from their stay
  7. To save water as part of our eco-friendly approach, fresh towels only provided after every 3 nights' stay
  8. In general, please conserve water wherever possible - thank you!

Indemnity: The host, Georgy Geldenhuys, will not be held liable for any damage, loss or injury whilst on the property.

Support: Your host is available for personal support from 8am-10am each day. Please arrange to meet a day prior to this, otherwise in case of emergency. Georgy is always available on her mobile phone.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is payable with 24 hours of booking to have the booking confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE that for any 1-night stays, or stays during the December school holiday or Easter Weekend, we require a 100% deposit.

Payment can be made via EFT or International Bank Transfer, or via Nightsbridge's credit card system.

Balance is due in CASH on arrival, or can be paid via EFT or Bank Transfer latest 1 week before arrival to allow funds to clear.

The breakage deposit is R3500.

Keys will not be released without full payment being completed.



Cancellations:

  • 0 - 21 days before check-in forfeit 100% of deposit
  • 22 - 28 days prior to check-in forfeit 75% of deposit
  • 29 days or more prior to check-in forfeit 50% of deposit
  • Guests who don’t arrive on check-in day, or leave during their stay, forfeit 100% of FULL booking amount
  • We reserve the right to subtract the cost of refunds (e.g. admin & bank charges) from the amount refunded.
